What started as a school project, is now a complete passion to bring comfort and joy to those living with dementia. Resense was a project born out of a class called Lean LaunchPad taught at Grove City College. Two of the members, Luke Gilligan and Ethan David, however, saw the need and launched it as a business offering their main product the Memory Box.
The Memory Box is a toolkit designed to provide activities for individuals living with Dementia while also improving brain health, exercising their senses, and eliciting long-term memories. To achieve this, It includes multiple products targeting specific senses such as tactile activities, aromatherapy products, logical puzzles, and music therapy.
Currently, we are looking to incorporate our box in care facilities. We imagine this box being offered to each new resident as a “transition” box, helping them to adjust to their new settings. It could also act as a “conversation/activities box” for all residents during activities sessions. This toolkit offers endless opportunities to engage in meaningful ways with your residents and their loved ones.
Our goal is to make our product accessible to everyone. So, if you are interested in the Memory Box or know someone who could benefit from it, please fill out the form on the "Get The Memory Box" page!
